Janis Karpinski

Janis Karpinski has been in the U.S.rnmilitary for over twenty-five years, most recently as the Commander of the rnMilitary Police Brigade in Iraq. rnShe received a Bronze Star for her service in the Gulf War. She now lives in rnHilton Head, South Carolina. rnSteven Strasser is a former editor and foreign correspondent for Newsweek. rnHe now teaches journalism at PurchasernCollege in New York.rn
