Liz Smith was born in Fort Worth, Texas and began her media career in the 1950′s as a pioneering news producer with Mike Wallace at CBS Radio in New York City. She is one of the founding members, along with Lesley Stahl, Mary Wells Lawrence and Joni Evans of wowOwow.com. A website for women to talk culture, politics and gossip.
