Mattie J.T. Stepanek

Mattie Stepanek started writing poetry and short stories at the age of three. He published five bestselling books of poetry and served as the National Goodwill Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He died in June of 2004, shortly before his 14th birthday.
